FIFE FLYERS have signed Matt Siddall – their first import to the club in seven years.
The Kirkcaldy side, set to make their bow in the Elite League this season, snapped up Canadian right winger at coach Todd Dutiaume prepares his squad.
The 26-year-old Canadian has spent the last four years in the ECHL with Gwinnett Gladiators and most recently, Victoria Salmon Kings, where he was coached by ex-Flyers legend Mark Morrison.
Coach Dutiaume was delighted to get such an experienced player as his side look ahead to a new challenge among the EIHL.
He said: “We are delighted to welcome Matt as the latest Flyer and he comes to us with fantastic references and his game speaks for itself.

Also adding to their squad last night was Edinburgh Capitals, who unveiled Slovakian defender Tomas Valecko as their latest recruit.
He arrives in the Scottish capital after spells at HK Spisska Nova Ves and HK Michalovce last season and is looking ahead to his new life in Edinburgh.
Valecko said: “I am looking forward to coming and I’ve heard lots of good things about the city and team. I hope I can do a good job and be a hit with the fans.”
General manager Scott Neil added: “Tomas is an offensively gifted defenceman who, at the age of 25, and has been one of the top points scoring defenceman in the Polish league.
“As a great skater and with good offensive skills, Tomas is expected to be one of our key players on the powerplay.”
